1. Features of HPH-12

1. Selectable Focal Lengths

3 focusing mirrors with focal lengths of 5 mm, 10 mm, and 15 mm are available. Select the optimum focal length for your application.

2. Compact Design

The heater has a compact body with a diameter of only φ12 mm. It can be installed in confined spaces and is ideal for integration into equipment.

3. High-Density Localized Heating

The 5 mm focal length focusing mirror concentrates infrared radiation into a spot approximately φ1.5 mm in diameter, enabling high-density localized heating up to approximately 700°C.

4. Rapid Heating

With the 5 mm focal length Focusing mirror, the temperature rises to approximately 600°C in about 5 seconds after heating starts, providing excellent thermal response.

5. Suitable for Moving Applications

The heater can be operated in any orientation, making it suitable for installation on moving equipment and for heating while in motion.
When installing on moving equipment, be sure to provide vibration and shock protection to prevent damage caused by impact during stopping or operation.

6. Suitable for Vacuum Environments

The non-contact infrared heating method allows use in vacuum environments. Before initial use, perform vacuum bake-out because a small amount of gas may be released from the inorganic adhesive.

The heating area can be adjusted by changing the distance from the focal position.

Shorter focal lengths provide faster heating to higher temperatures.

4. Voltage and lifetime of HPH-12

As shown above, operating at a voltage 10% below the rated voltage extends the design life by approximately 3 times, while operating at 20% below the rated voltage extends it by approximately 9 times.

5. Manual Control Controller → HCV Series

For manual control of the HPH-12, use the HCV Series controller.

6. Automatic Temperature Control Controller → HHC2 Series

Automatic temperature control → HHC 2 series

For automatic temperature control of the HPH-12, use the HHC2 Series controller. By combining it with a radiation thermometer or other temperature measurement device, the temperature of the target can be measured and automatically controlled in real time.

7. HPH-12 Model Configuration

The HPH-12 can be configured by combining one of three focusing mirror models with a lamp base and specifying the lead wire length.
