1. Features of HPH-100
1) Quickly heats a φ10mm point up to 1750°C
The HPH-100 is a halogen point heater that focuses halogen lamp light to a single point using a reflective mirror, enabling localized high-temperature heating.
The actual temperature may vary depending on the infrared absorption rate of the target material, but it can heat a φ10mm point to approximately 1750°C at a focal length of 25mm.
The heating temperature can be controlled by adjusting either the irradiation time or the voltage.
Using the heater at 90% of the rated voltage can extend the lamp life by approximately three times.
Note: Frequent ON/OFF operation shortens the lamp lifespan.
Gradual voltage ramp-up at startup and ramp-down at shutdown can help extend the lamp life.
2) Enables high-precision and safe non-contact heating
The halogen point heater uses non-contact infrared heating, allowing energy to be transferred without touching the target object.
Advantages include:
■ Can heat delicate or micro components without physical damage
■ No risk of contamination, making it suitable for applications requiring high cleanliness such as medical or semiconductor fields
■ No mechanical wear due to non-contact heating, resulting in excellent maintainability
3) Provides clean heating, usable in cleanrooms and vacuum environments
When using in a vacuum chamber, initial outgassing may occur from the inorganic adhesive. Pre-vacuum processing is recommended.
4) No restriction on installation angle, usable while in motion
When mounted on movable parts, be sure to implement shock-absorption measures, as significant impact may occur during stopping.
5) By adopting a water-cooling system, the device operates with extremely low noise even during operation.
Equipped with a standard φ8 mm water-cooling fitting, it is ideal for integration into small chillers and benchtop devices,
offering efficient cooling and excellent compatibility.

As shown in the above figure, if user lower it by 10% from the rated voltage, design life will be lengthens to 3 times.
If user lower it by 20% from the rated voltage, design life will be lengthens to 9 times.
